JUCO guard Amoro Lado commits to join Warriors
Amoro Lado, a 6-foot-3 guard at College of Southern Idaho, announced his commitment to join the University of Hawai’i basketball team on Monday.

Lado averaged 12.0 points and 3.3 rebounds per game during his recently completed sophomore season at CSI. He led the team with 62 3-pointers (in just 24 games) and shot 47.0 percent from 3-point range.
He played his freshman season at Chipola College in Florida, and averaged 2.9 points and 1.2 rebounds per game in limited minutes.
Lado is from Nampa, Idaho, and was the Idaho state player of the year as a senior at Vallivue High School in 2019. He averaged 24.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per game as a high school senior.
He announced his commitment to the Rainbow Warriors through his social media accounts.
