Highly rated California forward to visit Hawaii
Ronnie Stevens, a 6-foot-9, 225-pound forward, said he will make a recruiting visit to Hawaii on Oct. 15.
Stevens is a senior at Serra High in Gardena, Calif. He played a key role in leading Serra to a California state championship last season, and is expected to play an even larger role this season.
Calihighsports.com ranks Stevens as the No. 15 player in the state and stated that he “should end up being a Pac-10 player.”
Stevens said he is also planning to make a recruiting visit to Cal State Northridge. Among the other programs showing interest in Stevens are Utah, Nevada, Colorado, Marquette, Oregon and Washington State.
