Video: Player introductions at banquet
In what is becoming an annual tradition, the players from the University of Hawai’i basketball team took turns introducing teammates at the Awards Banquet on April 17 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Coral Ballroom.
Head coach Eran Ganot started the process, introducing redshirt freshman Zoar Nedd and noting that Nedd is the youngest player Ganot has ever coached on the collegiate level. Nedd then introduced the next player (Huthifah Abdeljawad), and so on.
All 15 players from the 2018-19 season participated, including departing seniors Sheriff Drammeh, Jack Purchase and Brocke Stepteau, and departing juniors Leland Green and Brandon Thomas.
