Hawai’i picked fifth in Big West preseason poll

Fotu2_UCI

The University of Hawai’i is predicted to finish fifth in the nine-team Big West Conference, according to the Big West Preseason Media Poll released on Thursday.

Junior forward Isaac Fotu was one of six players named to the Preseason All-Conference Team.

Here are quotes from head coach Gib Arnold, provided by the UH Media Relations Department:

On the Big West Poll:

“With six Big West teams returning four or more starters laden with seniors, and with us returning two starters with only one senior, I understand the poll. I do, however believe the two returning starters we have in Garrett (Nevels) and Isaac (Fotu) are two of the best players in the conference. We had our best recruiting class in five years and we have a number of talented and athletic young returning players ready to make an impact. I believe we have the makings of a very exciting and special team. Our goal is to exceed expectations and bring a Big West championship home to Hawai‘i where it belongs”

On Isaac Fotu:

“It’s a much deserved all-conference selection. He is a great kid, great student, and great player. We couldn’t ask for a better representative for the University of Hawai‘i. I believe he is not only the best player in the conference but one of the best in the nation.”

Here is the official release from the Big West:

With four returning starters from last year’s squad that captured the Big West regular season title and finished 23-12 overall, UC Irvine has been picked to repeat as the 2014-15 champion in the preseason media poll.

Coach Russell Turner’s Anteaters received 20 of a possible 26 first-place votes for 221 points. Last year, UCI finished 13-3 in Big West play to secure the program’s third regular season title, and the second outright, with the 23 total victories tying for second-most in history. Returning players include Luke Nelson, the 2013-14 Big West Freshman of the Year, who averaged a team-best 11.8 points per game and knocked down 74 three-pointers. Sophomore 7-6 center Mamadou Ndiaye earned the Big West Defensive Player of the Year award after setting a school and conference single-season record with 106 blocked shots last season. The Anteaters also will rely upon a pair of upperclassmen in senior Will Davis II and junior Alex Young. Davis II is UCI’s career leader in blocked shots with 174, while Young’s 305 assists rank No. 7 in school history.

UC Santa Barbara finished second in the poll with 195 points and garnered a pair of first-place votes. The Gauchos went 21-9 in 2013-14, representing the fifth 20-win season under head coach Bob Williams. Among four returning starters and 11 letterwinners, Alan Williams is the headliner as the reigning Big West Player of the Year. The senior forward led the conference in scoring (21.3 ppg) and the nation in rebounding (11.5 rpg) en route to Associated Press All-American and First Team All-District recognition. Backcourt mates Michael Bryson and Zalmico Harmon – a pair of honorable mention all-conference recipients – combined to average over 19 points per contest while Harmon ranked No. 2 nationally with a 4.6-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio.

Long Beach State, which won the previous three Big West regular season championships prior to UC Irvine’s ascension in 2013-14, finished third in the poll with 180 points and three first-place nods. The senior backcourt of Mike Caffey and Tyler Lamb will lead the charge in the program’s quest to reclaim Big West supremacy. A two-time first team all-conference selection, Caffey will enter his final season in the black and gold 16th in school history with 1,114 points and ninth with 338 assists. Lamb’s 15.4 points per game helped the 49ers finish 14-8 down the stretch last year in earning All-Big West Second Team accolades. A third returning starter, 6-7 forward David Samuels, averaged 6.1 points and 5.4 rebounds, as he joins forces on the frontline with 6-9 senior transfer (Florida Gulf Coast) Eric McKnight.

CSUN reached the Big West Tournament championship game under Reggie Theus in his first-year as head coach. Slotted for fourth place with 165 points with one first-place vote, the Matadors welcome back seniors Stephen Maxwell and Stephan Hicks. Maxwell captured first team all-league honors after averaging 17.5 points and 8.8 rebounds to rank fourth and second in the Big West, respectively. Hicks was No. 6 in scoring (17.2 ppg) and No. 7 in rebounding (6.8 rpg). The two have combined to amass career totals of 2,711 points and 1,337 rebounds in their three previous seasons. Hicks is 552 points shy of becoming just the seventh player in Big West history to reach the career 2,000 plateau.

Hawai‘i placed fifth in the poll with 119 points. The Rainbow Warriors return All-Big West First Team member junior Isaac Fotu. Cal Poly, which last season became the first No. 7 seed to win the Big West Tournament championship, and went on to earn an NCAA Tournament first round victory, was sixth in the poll with 109 points. Rounding out the votes was UC Davis in seventh (79 points), Cal State Fullerton eighth (64) and UC Riverside ninth (38).

The media panel also selected a six-player preseason all-conference team comprised of four seniors, one junior and one sophomore from six different institutions – Long Beach State’s Mike Caffey, Isaac Fotu of Hawai‘i, Corey Hawkins of UC Davis, CSUN’s Stephen Maxwell, UC Irvine’s Mamadou Ndiaye and Alan Williams of UC Santa Barbara. Caffey, Fotu, Maxwell and Williams made the All-Big West First Team in 2013-14.

  1. No surprises. I think this is about what most people expected including me.

  2. Sounds about right, being that Only 2 starters return. Right in the middle of the pack. UH make their move, healthy, steadied.,foucused, deep in talent and ready In BWC play and BWC tourney time to push for that NCAA bid! or NIT if they win regular season title, guaranteed auto bid

    Go Bows. Rainbow Warriors

And Especially go AD, Chancellor, Prez of UH, and Alabama Special!

  3. I still don’t know why no coach’s poll? No offense to the media but I always find the coach’s poll more interesting.

  4. The Whole University, including the upper and chancellor, getting it straight with counsel. That is good sign, they want to conclude the investigation, and do what it takes, for benefit of UH, the student athletes and the MBB program. Very good that type of support, KEEP UH MBB going and move ahead, live , learn, and linger on for very good seasons for years to come. Proud that they took that stand….Here we go ….down the stretch for that last second 3 point shot , give UH chance!

Soon WI nation … soon… and then we concentrate ONLY on BB and UH striving to win championships!

  5. Nice to see Fotu’s standing in the league. Hope Nevels puts together a year that ends with him being considered for All-Conference at the end.

  6. That poll is pretty much how the BWC season ended before tournament. No surprises top to bottom. This is last year’s news. This year is a completely new animal for UH MBB. It’s time we flex some muscle and show what we got. We’ve paid our dues and it’s time to dominate this conference. Just go out there and take it.

  7. Subject to the sanctions, a partial “wop your jaws” to jeff and jackson. I think they predicted UH would be either 6 or 7th in the media poll. Their jaws must be somewhat open in awe.

  8. Gib responded a little more in support of his program regarding potential allegations , per newspaper awhile ago.

  9. still seems weird, a BOR member, long time UH MBB guy, on BB talk and BB color radio, commenting on UH BB, coaches, team, standings. If Jeff were completely severed from UH system, just a fan like we are.. makes sense , he can say what he wants. Jackson… still that sour taste(ex BB coach retired?),… and he does not hide it.. Gib, what he has to do, and really coach well, even change the style if have to, to get solidarity and team as One, Win BWC and go to NCAA tournament, then Balk Talk show, Jeff and Jackson what would they say? Oh, you know, they went to sweet sixteen , however they lost to Duke by 21 pts… they should have been better prepared… shoots.. that is how it goes, we All Got Noses and Opinions.. Above statemenst, JUST MY OPINION… as JP and JW have theirs..
Just My Opinion? UH, gets some lessons, corrections, and moves on to really excite SSC faithful, and finally make run to BWC championship game in Anaheim, and hopefully NOT BROKEN HEARTED IN ANAHEIM.. instead Elated and Joyful Hearted, for the die hare, green and white, hard core, new and makule UH MBB fans, love Laura B and her WBB, however, BB interest really starts with MBB, then WBB can both go to NCAA’s would be great year!

Imua! Go Warriors Rainbows Go Bows. Sweet Home Alabama Legal eagles, take us down that Country road to NCAA’s championship tournament, get things settled..that is what they were hired to do advise, and they going do their best.

Just wait, a little while longer gang.. UH MBB HPU exhibition will be right here, soon, in a little under 2 weeks!

  10. Right. They are in awe because another poll picked UH 5 instead of 7. Really? These polls are for cleaning up after my dog on his walk Ainokea!! Let’s start the games and see who ends up where. Like Runbows says “time has come today” for team to kick some okole and earn some respect. Lace ’em up and let’s go already! So other teams return more starters. Just means our new recruits need to step up. Man, I am getting antsy to see this team prove some naysayers wrong. Would love to be sitting in a full SSC and stepping on UCI throat.

  11. don’t know too much about athletics and politics about coach team. read paper online. coach gib is taking a very strong stand for himself and program. students, we like team and coach Arnold makes it fun, the dunks. the give back education. hope he comes out way ahead. good person.

  12. Gib he ready.

    Ben he ready.

    Chancellor he ready.

UH President full support of UH MBB programs and their decisions to correct matters.
Sure seems like paperwork, compliance classes, compliance person. is she doing her job? Staff go to NCAA protocol latest rules seminars. As Gib said in Star Article, he is holding fast, CLEAN PROGRAM.. no felonies, domestic, verbal, physical abuse, No, payoffs, illegal things, no one mistreated. Quite evident, Gib never brought up before UH ethics commission or HPD, etc. And any gripes, by young guys went away with that first 3 guys , that left program year one.

Gib Stands, with Program, and Team and UH admin stands with him. NCAA want to go further, have not even followed their protocol so far. Nothing yet.. How can people not even in the know, KNOW what is going down. i.e. radio pundits, Alabama Special Sweet Home Alabama, best legal ncaa watchdog firm in the nation, will advise…counsel.. help UH .. Gib has his own counsel..UH stand strong as ONE OHANA, Clean Program, Administrative corrections, Gib says, if ncaa notified them as soon as possible, they would make corrections. Team, the guys here, and even the ones that left, except for one who turned out to be a felon… great guys… Families Tonganator, bigdaddy, TribeVx4, great ohana.

Can say this… Gib Ready, NWC ready, Sammis if need be, he Ready to play some basketball, get on with it, move over ……let Gib take over and take UH to NCAA promised land.

soon, UH get straightened out, and any questions, Gib counsel and UH Alabama Special and UH general counsel can hammer it out.. let Gib and his team, play for Championships… after smoke clears. they will.

  13. Ready , the team betta be ready to win this conference, this season, season 5, it is the time, we got the student athletes to win this title , in and out the first round will be unacceptable, the Warriors need the mentality like Nevels, take no prisoners, punish the enemy, and protect the house ,brutal on the boards, It’s Warrior Time!

  14. Don’t know if it’s my imagination, but there seems to be a disconnect between what Coach is acknowledging and what AD is saying regarding the investigation. Does anyone else think the same?

Regardless of the outcome of the investigation, still think Negus and Sammis will be major factors this season. Consider, Negus is a sophomore and Sammis a freshman; now the onus is on them to produce.

Hope the recruit, Coach visited in LA yesterday is a big and four star BB player.

  15. “there seems to be a disconnect between what Coach is acknowledging and what AD is saying”

Actually it’s not exactly that, but I see what you’re saying.
Both are acknowledging that something happened, that wasn’t by the books.

But it seems that the AD and UH Pres are planning some self-imposed punishments, and it doesn’t seem like Gib has any idea about them. Or he’s being really closed about it. Or he’s not ready to go to the next step, which is dealing with the punishment.

  16. Gib should just coach and be quiet. Everyone will know shortly what is coming down. Gib has said other things about situation that came back to bite him. Best advice at this point? Shhhh! Silence is golden.

  17. Hoosier I agree that someone needs to shut Gibs trap. The more he claims innocence the harsher the penalties will be. By claiming nothing happened it shows that he has no control over the program or he is not remorseful for violations that occurred. Either way by opening his mouth only bad can come of it.

  18. Hoosier, Horsse, Pono, tako… have to agree on that point..Gib should just let the ncaa and UH AD and admin, they have that well paid legal counsel that has all the experience with these investigations. probably advising AD and UH what to do.. It really is similar to plea bargain..

However, I can see where Gib is coming from too.(protect reputation of MBB staff, team the legacy ). Remember the April BB banquet, he basically said same thing, even alluded too, mistakes made, however will correct and come out stronger..

He made that public statement, to quell fears from , US.. the fanbase, the public , the families..If use research, done on ncaa investigations similar, and law system, it appears to be administrative..protocol, make sure practices, whatever extra or not extra things provide, make sure those things are done according to that 417 pg, NCAA rules book.

The team, and the coaches including Gib, all they are concentrating on, The season, and getting better.. UH can have a really good season, so for we fans, and MYSELF especially, just wait.. ncaa will release, UH has 90 days to respond/appeal if need.. Within few weeks if not sooner, the better, than UH MBB and coach, fans, families, we just enjoy UH MBB and WBB battle for BWC
    championships.

And Tako, I wish it is an athletic , strong rim protector, that will complement the 3’s and 4’s UH has now.. A under the radar, 6’11” 258 beast.. a good guy…. Historically, Gib now, his guys, are doing well in class, GPA, APR,… graduating on track, and He has overall winning record..

Gib, just win that BWC tournament and go NCAA and make a run.. will end up with good thoughts fo this season.. whatever ncaa… deal with that, with help of counsel.. And you would hope, that Admin and Lower, the coaches are on same page.. Solidarity, stick together.. I believe, UH Pres. the Chancellor, Now they Know UH athletics,.. all.. FB most importantly and second UH MBB. they will do everything to keep in good standing.. I really believe hiring that Alabama, Special Legal Team, was the smartest thing UH did.

  19. Best case scenario: Ncaa letter, correctable in house things, whether limits on practice, maybe scholarship, limit, coach or staff sit out a couple of games, restitution..No major abuse, I guess, that is exactly what Gib is stating.. His program, and alleged violations, not Penn St Sandusky, Paterno, USC, Miami, Florida, Kentucky, and now storied North Carolina, the bogus classes..

Truth is, Alabama Legal, they probably know, they gather facts, who / whom ncaa interviewed. what are supposed violations, and potential sanctions, penalties… Still think , ncaa will NOT BAN UH MBB from post season play.. UH MBB no payoffs, agents involved. coaches, abuse.. etc.. bordering on felony, crimes, Loss of Institutional Control…

Like Riley had to learn, Gib has to tone down.. Riley did in latter years..let the guys play and win..

One thing, ncaa, present the letter, and UH responds, or self imposed, BEFORE the season even starts, That is Alabama and UH general counsel probably advising, and as AD says, it is just discussion.. Still think , finally, Upper and Lower, Proactive to the Max.. Hey, UH MBB fans, we cannot lose UH MBB..with the state of those hard working FB athletes.. man I wish they win homecoming game against Rolo and Nevada.

servante….Eagle…. two of the original about half dozen that started to post about 5 years ago on WI forum.. ncaa just play out, and let legal handle, or admin, just be prepared.. In my heart, I think it is protocol, and doing things according to the book, practices, duties of staff, etc.. Food? Sheesh, guys have to eat..other items.. smart tablet.. I don’t Know..

That is why, even Ferd And Dave… Now, I know they op ed writers, opinion.. they are showing that they are NOT wanting UH athletics any program to go down, or any coach.. unless need be..They both say.. or write, UH has to do what they have to do, Keep All programs, including MBB going and live, correct , learn, and move on.. WINNING Championships and deep runs into Post Season, will cure a lot of ills, even for WVB, WSB, BB, WBB and MBB.

Go Bows.. Stuck with my alma mater for near 50 years.. not going to give up on any coach or program, unless they are felons and domestic abusers..

Go The Mighty Warriors, Double Rainbows..
Hey HPU exhibition game coming up Fasssst… Get ready to see a team coming together..!

  20. Actually… that Give Back Program started by Gib before all this other matters came up.. shows what Gib and MBB program are about, the Hawaii Culture, the academics, making sure he has good character student athletes.. And IT STILL BLOWS ME AWAY…even with finality to investigation. until now, and letter awaiting..

Sixteen, count em, Sixteen, BB athletes, NOT ONE, left program.. they will stay and help UH win championships.. Those are VERY high character guys, with great families.

All they going do.. try to Win Championships.. and Go Post Season..

Getting tired of typing.. and you all, the fans, tired of my posts, so will give it a break.. My apologies.. sorry.. love the UH MBB program,… just want them to correct whatever needs to be corrected, and then, go out and get that 25 win season and NIT or NCAA bid this March!

    Go Bows..!
    Pau…..

  21. I agree and add that I think everyone at UH should keep quiet until something is actually resolved. I might be wrong, but from reading other stuff it seems like Ben Jay announced to the media about the self-imposed sanctions before he even discussed it with Gib. Some of the critics say that Ben likes the spotlight so maybe he felt the urge to talk to the media first and this probably caught Gib off his guard when he was asked about it at first so he came back later with his own statements because we know Gib likes the spotlight just as much.

To me it is just more bumbling and fumbling from UH. Why can’t they be like a real big company and just keep everybody quiet until it really is time to make formal announcements. If you notice the NCAA is really good about keeping everybody in the dark about this. No leaks, no big mouths, everybody just wait for the announcement. I think a lot of the public gets frustrated with this but thats how it supposed to work in big business.

By the way, this includes Portnoy and the Board of Regents about keeping quiet. God, I hope he doesn’t discuss his “inside information” on the radio and turn this even more into a public debate. That would just be wrong especially if the Board has to make any type of future decisions on this subject.

  22. ChuckCheese:

Yes. I agree. Ben Jay, should have informed, Gib what UH is trying to do, probably took him aback.. AD and coaches should be on same page. Gib did keep silent, he is not mentioning who was interviewed, or what about. However, mad blanket statement, they are trying best they can to run good, clean program..

Heck, Chuck, Pono, tako, etc, We don’t even know the subject of letter and allegations.. maybe, even IN HOUSE corrections, administrative, type. I Don’t Know..

You and I, probably the Only Two on this forum, that have mentioned, the strange situation with that BOR guy, radio host and color man for UH MBB, who is on the committee that could decide fate of coaches,? It doesn’t make sense.. And for he, JP and JW, to say, something Big is going to drop down.. Man, if they are associated with UH, and they are opening up, or telling other INSIDERS.. some people in the supposed KNOW at UH and outside about case, sheeesh.. that is just what they ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO DO.. very sure, Gib just a generic letter for Fans, hang in there.. they will work with ncaa, and correct.. Very sure, that it is not on par with Penn St, USC, Florida, Kentucky, etc.. Or even national champ U. Conn, who were hit for APR.. lacking..

Chuck.. we just watch hilite video of this Sat. officiated scrimmage from WI and super WI MBB coverage guy Dayton.. Thanks Dayton for forum.

Now. Chuck , I is Pau…hang in there UH MBB fans.. will get this thing settled..soon, I hope! and JP and JW… just don’t say anything about investigation.. not even allude to…Unless that letter is made public, and statement from UH AD ..

    Go Bows Warriors Rainbows!
Good words, and thoughts Chuck, enjoy your posts, objective, me subjective.. love the UH MBB hoops.. however.. just have to await…

  23. Excellent idea for everyone, including all of us on board, to focus on team and game. No NCAA speculation, Portnoy complaints, polls good, bad, or whatever. I just want to know how guys are doing on court and in class. Other than that no matter. Game time approaching quickly. My favorite time of year (other than March Madness). Just give me some three’s, an alley oop. And a ferocious rebound and outback. Even anice swat of a shot into the first row would be great at this point. Go Bows!

  24. Steal and Fast Break!
BLOCK STUFF (Rebound After Opposition Collapses in A Heap — NO Foul!)
    Three!
    Great Pass! Tip Slam!
    More Threes!

    The SSC Crowd Is Rockin’…

    (Things We May Be Seeing..)
    …Repeatedly ?

  25. If one scholarship to offer after Nevels grads…wonder who from cali. can Gib recruit or Senque or Benjy?
Still think if Gib could sign one of the Senegal bigs 6’9″-7’0″ would be great.
or does Gib offer another roster guy..depends how team does this year
good indicator how much guys are improving? Tomorrow’s officiated scrimmage.

Jawato gets back his streak 3 pt shot huge lift
    Enos..Fleming..Nevels..Negus..Jawato

Fotu..Thomas…Reyes hit a few per game..UH will score a lot
shutdown D ..they win a lot

  26. Eagle’, you got the idea! Get me a.garlic fries and a tall one. I am ready for that kind of action!

  27. in this point of gib’s career he should be able to find better recruits and not have to hand scholarships to the walk-ons

  28. I think Gib expected a scholarship reduction so he’s keeping some open so he doesn’t have to release a guy from a scholarship and make the PR nightmare worse. It is poor planning to not have a full roster of 13 scholies to compete with other teams. He put one walk-on on scholie for one year since it was open. Filipovich got it.

  29. As of now, Gib has used all 13 scholarships, he had said on the radio show. Next year he will have one open, if UH is allowed 13 total again, since Nevels is a senior this year.

  30. Believe that this is the first for Gib and UHMBB. The fact that a 4 star player is interested in Hawaii tells me that we are starting to get some heads turned our way. Not saying garans we will land one. But the success of this year will have a huge impact on attracting marquee players to Hawaii. And it’s not a fluke that we might have one tremendous year. This program has been growing and evolving since day 1 and will continue to grow due to Gib’s relentless efforts to bring a quality program to Hawaii. We got the right coach in the right program. These days you need people that can recruit. That’s half the battle before you even make a basket. You gotta have a super recruiter because no quality player will decide he wants to play for Hawaii by himself. And you can’t sit at the desk and hope the phone will ring with a 5 mega star player just dying to come here. He wants to see the results first and recruited by the right people. I might not have anything good to say about certain organizations, but I can tell you that Gib Arnold is a class act. He’s not perfect. He’s not easy on the players. But he loves them as his children, he loves his family, UH, and the State of Hawaii. It’s all passion.

  31. Gib will have two scholies available next year. Nevels and the walk on who got the scholie this year will have to give it up next year.

  32. Servante, I agree with your comments and that is why I was blown away by a caller on the Bobby Curren show. The caller was disappointed in Gib and what he has achieved and thought we should be looking for another coach. So many people wanting coaches fired. Whew, tough profession though they get paid well.

  33. Yes, tough profession, hired to be fired. And Gib is at the stage where this year has to be the year. Middle of this conference WILL NOT attract any 4 star athletes. Championship and advancement in NCAA tourney may. As said by many here before, this is the year to begin dominating this mediocre conference

  34. servante……

Excellent points. Gib kamaaina, local HS grad, love Hawaii, he gets it.
He and staff put together first rate athletic and academic team. Giving back to Hawaii youth. Hope that 200+ of reading program youngsters will be there at December 29th game.
just tire of ones or org. dumping on him and program. Bet to a man , team wants to win every game and give credit to Gib and staff.
This year, the tables will turn.

You go get em Gib..you are one of only or maybe few surfing basketball coaches in the nation.
Passionate about UH hoops team and aloha state..
Gib there are thousands young and old appreciate what you have done bringing interest back to UH MBB program.

Mahalo Gib..your team will fight..give max effort and win a lot
agree with Eagle and servante…huge upgrade every year in team and student athletes

Good job Gib ..chase and capture championships!!

    Go Bows !
    Warriors !!

  35. Good UH has two bangers in Jovanovich and Sammis..enforcers…get physical
then the athletic guys Valdes , Thomas..and so many combinations of 5 guys on court
they press ,, trap,, the big atvtop of point zone like rozitis good change of pace
    credit? Gib and staff
    Stand and Fight !!

  36. Coach arnold such a good one, he will win all battles. most of student fans don’t understand negative, only see positive in coach and team. coach arnold IS a winner with Hawaii fans and school.having jamie on board.brlliant addition. Plus more staff and grad managers.winner all the way.

  37. servante, what 4 star player is interested in Hawaii ? The only big man recently that visited was a 2 star . Not a shot blocker, but he can raise his arms up good to throw off some drives to the basket and take up some space .

  38. Why Rainbow Warriors might be one of the top scoring teams in nation and number one in BWC.

Three point range shooters: Nevels, Jawato, Enos, Valdes, Fleming, Bobbitt, Filipovich, Webster-Chan, Fotu, Jankovich, Stepteau, Buscher, Smith, Thomas, and Reyes…maybe Jovanovich work on 3 ball shot too…however..15 guys can hit trifectas.

Dunkers: Nevels, Smith, Fotu, Reyes, Thomas, Jankovich, Jovanovich, Fleming, Valdes, Bobbitt when healthy, Jawato when healthy, Webster-Chan…at least 14

Ball handlers: Bobbitt, Filopovich, Enos, Fleming, Smith, Negus, Nevels, Stepteau.

FT shooters: to be seen..leading returning , Fotu and Nevels 75%+, if rest of team shoot around 75%+
    Win a lot of games

    Offense potential , great

Wanted Number one BWC team in defense, rebounding, steals , one of the tops in blocked shots

One of leaders in assists..and 11-12 turnovers or less per game
    over 50% FG
    3 Line 39% as team

Team rested thursday back to grind today
tomorrow Saturday October 25 2014 officiated scrimmage, if possible Dayton’s video seen on Sunday October 26 2014
cannot wait till HPU Exhibition game..see who top 11-12+
Then opening game against good High point team opening game RBC..

POSITIVE ZONE..GO GET EM GIB AND TEAM..HAVE GREAT SEASON !!

  39. islandman

Somewhere read Gib had several year radar on talented HS BB star ..he went thursday..returned today for practice

If a target signed this early period Nov 2014..would be awesome..this spring 3 or 4 star added ..more awesome

Eagle..you recommended a site..other than verbal committs basketball hawaii
wonder who is the bb star Gib visit? If he sign or committ ..fantastic

Positive zone. !! All aboard. !!
