In what is being dubbed as “Alumni Night,” all fans – University of Hawai’i graduates or not – are encouraged to attend one of the biggest games of this season on Thursday night.

The Rainbow Warriors will host first-place UC Santa Barbara at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center. The game is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m., and tickets can be purchased online via eTicketHawaii.com.

Hawai’i is 15-5 overall and in fourth place in the Big West Conference at 6-2, but only one game behind the leaders. The Gauchos are 16-3 overall and in first place at 7-1.

It is the Warriors’ second consecutive game against the first-place team. Hawai’i scored a crucial 67-63 road win at UC Riverside on Saturday, knocking the Highlanders out of first place.

Hawai’i went 1-1 on the road last week, but are back home for two games this week (UCSB on Thursday, then CSU Bakersfield on Saturday). The Warriors have won eight consecutive games at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.

In honor of the Alumni Night, the Warriors will wear retro jerseys based on the designs worn by the UH teams of the mid-1970s. Fans attending the game are also encouraged to wear retro UH gear.
