Warriors will get lots of screen time in 2019-20

The University of Hawai’i basketball team will have at least three of its Big West Conference road games featured on ESPN3 during the 2019-20 season.

The Big West Conference announced its ESPN3 schedule on Wednesday. Hawai’i’s road games at Cal State Fullerton (Jan. 9), UC Irvine (Jan. 11) and Long Beach State (Feb. 22) will be streamed live via ESPN3.

All four of the quarterfinal games of the Big West Conference Tournament will also be streamed live via ESPN3. The semifinal games will be televised on ESPNU, and the championship game will be on ESPN2.

Additional UH road games at UC Riverside (Feb. 20) and at CSUN (March 7) are currently on a list of “Wild Card” games that might still be selected for live streaming via ESPN3.

ESPN3 is ESPN’s live multiscreen sports network. It is accessible on the ESPN App across computers, smartphones, tablets and TV-connected devices to fans who receive their high-speed internet connection or video subscription from an affiliated service provider.

The Rainbow Warriors are already guaranteed to have four games televised on either ESPN2 or ESPNU earlier in the season. UH’s road game at Illinois (Nov. 18) will be live on ESPNU. Also, all three of UH’s games during the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic (Dec. 22, 23 and 25) will be on either ESPN2 or ESPNU

What’s more, Hawai’i’s road game at Oregon (Dec. 7) will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks.

And, of course, most (if not all) of the home games outside of the Diamond Head Classic will be televised in Hawai’i via Spectrum Sports.
