The debut of DaBeast Films

Just as he has all season for the Hawai’i basketball team, sophomore forward Davis Rozitis played a valuable reserve role last week on the road.

We’re not just talking about points and rebounds this time, though.

Rozitis filled in as a road videographer for WarriorInsider.com last week, when the Warriors traveled to Logan, Utah, and Moscow, Idaho. Hawai’i went 1-1 on the trip, dropping a close one at Utah State, then rebounding with a win at Idaho.

Rozitis captured several behind-the-scenes moments, and the videos will be posted here in a series called DaBeast Films. The title is a play off his first name, which is pronounced dah-VEEHs.

And don’t worry about senior guard Zane Johnson. His InZane Video series was on a break last week, and he willingly passed the camera along to Rozitis. WarriorInsider.com will try to have both players capture video moments during future road trips.

Below are the first two videos in the DaBeast Films series. The first one features interviews with several of his teammates. The second one features interviews with assistant coach Brandyn Akana and strength and conditioning coordinator Chris McMillan.
