Four Warriors are in the transfer portal
Four reserve players from the University of Hawai’i basketball team are departing the program via the NCAA transfer portal.

Justus Jackson, Amoro Lado, Zoar Nedd and Beon Riley have all announced that they are seeking to join other programs for next season.
Jackson and Riley played key back-up roles during the 2022-23 season. Jackson, a 6-foot-1 sophomore, appeared in 29 games and averaged 3.3 points per game. He scored a season-high 16 points in a road win at CSU Bakersfield.
Riley, a 6-6 sophomore, averaged 4.6 points and 3.7 rebounds per game, and emerged as the team’s “energy” player off the bench.
Lado, a 6-2 junior, sat out the final 24 games of the season with a leg injury. He averaged 5.0 points per game and played a key reserve role as a sophomore during the 2021-22 season.
Nedd, a 6-6 junior, received limited minutes during his four years with the Rainbow Warriors. Nedd and Riley were Big West Conference All-Academic selections last season.
The Warriors also lose three seniors – Samuta Avea, Kamaka Hepa and Juan Munoz – and must now replace seven players from the 2022-23 team that finished with a 22-11 record.
