Warriors picked fourth in Preseason Poll

The University of Hawai’i basketball team was picked to finish fourth (out of nine teams) in the Big West Conference preseason media poll, announced on Thursday.

  1. Geez the interest in the program is waning quick. No comments on a pre-season poll? Do the coaches not give any access to the program? Seems like this is less of an insider and just amplifying general press releases now. I’m thankful that Ganot got the MBB back in a good place by playing by the rules but I think we need someone with a little more personality and ability to recruit. Should still run a clean program but not be so boring. In person Ganot is charming and really easy to like, but most people don’t get to meet him and his perception is through his interviews and the media which is BORING.

  2. Pono,

I disagree with you on the lack of interest. I’ve seen a lot of attendance in various events for the mbb team before the preseason even started including the fundraiser tip-off from 10/24 (even though it was kind of boring).
