HD League playoffs begin on Saturday
The single-elimination playoffs for the Hawai’i Development League will begin on Saturday at Saint Francis School Gymnasium.
Island Movers will face Society Contracting in the first game at 6:00 p.m., and Electricians Hawaii will face Hooters in the second game at 7:30 p.m.
The top two seeds – Lei Lei’s and Ultimate Roofing – received byes into the semifinals. Lei Lei’s earned the No. 1 seed after finishing 4-1 in the regular season.
The winners of Saturday’s games will advance to face the top two seeds in the semifinals, which are scheduled for Monday night at Saint Francis.
The championship game is scheduled for July 19 at Maryknoll School.
Each of the six teams in the HD League has at least one current University of Hawai’i player.
