Frankly it’s hard to get excited over the early season foes with maybe the DHC being the exception. If team can remain undefeated by DHC there should be some interest in the public to come out. Iit’s going to be wait and see. But of course we die-hard fans will support the team even if they don’t win one game all year right? Well at least I’ll go to some of the games if that were the case. But it won’t be because they should win at least 20 again this year with the weak schedule.
How many season tickets sold this year? Call ticket office, lower bowl, usually all taken..they should give some of those seats to students.. bring them closer..
I wonder, if First Game, or first 7 home games, UH MBB will average 5800?
Kind of messy situation now for MBB..
Some fans, as yourself servante that is good support the boys. win or lose.
Upgrade in schedule with Ganot.? I think SOS and RPI, BPI. RIP.. whatever.. not the best..
Just hope for the seniors.. they have better than 20 win season, say about 28 which would set single season total win record. and probably mean UH is headed for NIT or NCAA..
You want to get excited.. however, probably around. BWC tourney time. win 3 go to NCAA dance !!
Let’s hope and I predict that we should be 7-0 going into the DHC. The DHC will be a good test of this team’s character and ability. It should say much about the coaching staff too. Some really good teams are in the DHC tournament and UH will have 2 very good opponents in their bracket to beat to get to the final. Making it to the final game and/or winning it will present a good challenge and test for the team.

UH ranked 115 by cbs sports out of 351 teams. UC Irvine 74, Long Beach St. 123, UCSB 140 and Riverside 197. It says watch out for Long Beach St as they have a lot of transfers or something and UCSB has three sharpshooters (article noted by Brian M).

Cal Poly at 148, possibly underrated per cbs sports.
CBS Sports going with last year’s stats. If it wasn’t for the fact that we almost got into the Dance they would have put us further back. Plus we did not pick up any impact player to go with the returning 7. Seems like the only way we will get any kind of recognition this year is to go undefeated. But even at that can’t see our RPI climbing much. Doesn’t make sense.
