Eagle, and all UH MBB fans, when coaches were saying ANY Team from 1 through 9 can win the BWC league title, and BWC tourney title, proving True.. look at bottom team, Fullerton, they have eight wins, and CSUN above them has less overall wins..yet huge upset of UCSB at Alan Williams home court.. That Davis, is that good, they are for real with win over Irvine.
Makes for really interesting balanced league.. I really think Dayton and Eagle and Warrior nation, UH with Janks, , returning heathier and reahabbing Nevels for stretch run, and finally a hot shooting Jawato/ Dyrbe, plus their D and better rebounding.. can sneak up , or maybe not.
ONLY DANGER.. that UH does not Think They Are that Much better than the rest of league.
Still have to play like UNDERDOGS.. scrap, fight, and prove, and They Are still waiting for UH MBB team to lose 2 or 3 in a row,,.. prove the doubters wrong, and go out and win 3 in a row
Go Bows !! Nowhere to go but up.. EFFORT TO THE MAX.. fight, Finish Strong !!
🙂
Congrats to Bobbitt who, after last night’s action, cracked the top 5 in steals per game. Nice to see the Hawaii logo up there.

Totally agree, Runbows. I hope they never stop playing like underdogs. So much effort. None of that entitled crap we’ve had a problem with the past few years. Humble bunch.
Guess Davis learned something playing UH. Coach Reggie musta stuck it to them after the loss. lol
^^^ I think you mean CSUN. Everyone hoping we teach Davis something too but that’s next week.
warriorhaw; thanks for info on Alan Williams on previous post; i was wondering what happened.
The flu is going around Hawaii too, per news article.
ahh, yeah excuse me. lol CSUN
If UH can hold Taylor Johns down to a subpar game, too, I like our chances.
Davis is looking mighty tough, though.
Eagle:
agree with that statement about KFVE coverage when they had broadcast rights, if game was not ESPN, the Road Games in the old WAC, were televised, unless logistically too hard to do, i.e, when they played the old Tulsa, or TCU or LaTech road games.. I bet, KFVE would have done that awesome live TV coverage from Maui of UH’s win over Pitt.. Auwe…
Well, next in line AD, or really UH admin, whomever pulling the strings at Manoa, do it right.. and reward the right people in Athletics dept. for success in classroom, very important, the community, first class and vitally Important.. Winning on the field , in the pool or on the courts..
Go Bows !!
All UH Spring Sports, just go for it..
And UH MBB team, get rest, stay healthy, follow scout.. scrap, fight, finish strong, for a great ESPNU game.. heck.. even if come out short, .. play till the end. battle, and come home and sweep Davis and Irvine.. just One Game, One War, Battle at a time.
The bleed Green and White, and support current coaches and team, got your backs.. You guys are winners in our hearts and minds.. !! Great job Benjy and the Boys !!
Funny schedule , UH has to play CSUN again on Jan 29, four games after the initial game with them, almost 3 weeks in between.
Yeah, keep working guys, Coach Taylor, have team rebound as Team, Bigs got to get Big, shoot well from FT line, take good shots.. and make them,.. play smart, and close out games on the road..
You mentioned Benjy on Sports News if ones could comment on where team needs improvement, sure enough, Rebounding, FT shooting, FG shooting, keep emotions in check, and execute.. Big challenge, home state for lot of Cali guys, families and fans, I remember listening to Cal Poly game, Irvine, Riverside, Fullerton, UCSB, Davis, CSUN, and LBSU games,, always hear fans cheering behind UH bench, and fans and families with green shirts and jackets, clothes, supporting team.
That is a good thing.. always, close to 100 or 75 or more, in attendance backing UH MBB team.. the good thing about having Cali MBB athletes on the team !!
Note: UH at this point 1-1 in BWC play. 13-5 overall
Missing from team now, departure or injury… Two of Leading Scorers returning from last Year .. Garrett Nevels and Isaac Fotu.. two very good players..
However, tough team, very tough minded, and effort.. they still winning games.. good job.
KEEP GETTING BETTER GUYS..!!
KEY MARCH TO MARCH.. madness..
And the new athletic director is………
Dave Shoji…Dick Tomey…Bob Wagner…Keith Amemiya…?
Some one fight for uh athletics and reward winning coaches
?
Make sure can get donors , partner with and help from legislature..
mover and shaker well liked by all…
