DaBeast Froductions From Davis/Stockton

The last road trip for the Hawai’i basketball team was a forgettable one. The Warriors had their five-game winning streak turned into a two-game losing streak after losses at UC Davis and Pacific, and starting guard Brandon Spearman suffered what appears to be a season-ending ankle injury.

Alas, the crew at DaBeast Froductions is here to lighten the mood. Davis Rozitis and Isaac Fotu once again had a camera ready to capture a few behind-the-scene moments on the road trip.

In this episode, the Warriors prepare for dinner at an Outback Steakhouse restaurant, and Australian Michael Harper is the focus of the interview.

Later, Rozitis and Fotu take a walk in Stockton, Calif., while searching for a place to eat lunch.

The final clip in this episode features “The Cup Song” by Fotu, Harper and graduate assistant Nicholas Milan.

The Warriors are hoping to end the losing streak this week, when they return to action in the Stan Sheriff Center. Hawai’i (15-11 overall, 9-6 Big West Conference) will host Northern Arizona in a non-conference game this Saturday at 5 p.m. The Warriors will remain at home next week for conference games against UC Santa Barbara and Cal Poly.

  1. I like these players, young guys and student athletes. They have a good relationship with each other, no head case, or ego maniacs, i.e. guys that left program. They can have fun and enjoy college life even though not having perfect season. Kudos to UH MBB team and Michael , Davis, Isaac and Nick.!! Good stuff, makes you laugh!

Still feel bad for Brandon Spearman. What if he is a super quick healer? Never know, he has to take care of health and body, since he has his whole life and career ahead of him.

Good feature Dayton and DaBeast Frotu Productions!

We need a smile and laugh once in awhile!

  2. P.S. to above comment, I am confident, that team will pull together, guys like Jefferson, Harper, Ozi, Clair, Hauns, Jawato, Davis, will compensate for loss of Brandon “B” Spearman. UH MBB team is going to make a run for the BWC tourney championship, and have a good record. Say north of 19 wins ( an possibly more!)

Guys , stick together, do well in school, improve, and go out and show BW, that you are actually a very Monster Like former WAC team, who can play Big Boy Basketball. !!

  3. Warriors Protect the House ! REFUSE TO LOSE is your motto for the rest of the season!

  4. Looks like the best they can do is 19 – 11 (12-6); which is short of expectations! Start thinking about CIT or another lower level post season tourney! Mahalo.
