‘Excellent’ view from the top row
“Bill and Zane’s Excellent Adventure” didn’t finish the way they wanted it to, so welcome to the extended edition.
The original plan was to have senior forward Bill Amis and junior guard Zane Johnson document the Hawaii basketball team’s two-week road trip, which included stops in San Jose, Fresno and Las Vegas.
The trip was cut short when the Warriors were eliminated in heartbreaking fashion in the first round of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament.
But Hawaii was offered a season extension in the form of an invitation to the Collegeinsider.com Postseason Tournament. As a result, Amis and Johnson will continue to provide some behind-the-scenes video.
The Warriors will host Portland in the first round of the CIT on Tuesday at the Stan Sheriff Center.
In this edition of the Excellent Adventure, Amis and Johnson encourage fans to attend the game at the Sheriff Center on Tuesday, even if it means sitting in the last row.
